Formerly Jamaican No. 2 Bitters
Sometimes, the happiest accidents make for wonderful destinations. Highlighted by their brightness and acidity, these citrus bitters are the lovechild of our Ginger Allspice Bitters and a batch error. During R&D in 2009 we doubled the grapefruit, turning an “our bad” into an “it was meant to be”, with the realization that spiced grapefruit bitters deserve their own shine.
Speaking of destinations, this infamous batch took inspiration from Jamaica Tea, which marries spices like ginger and clove with hibiscus during the holiday season. Whether your cocktail is up or on the rocks, you can turn up the Jamrock with each dash delivering grapefruit and hibiscus overtones plus underlying spice notes of allspice, ginger and vanilla.
